In addition to the sky-high displays there
will also be one and a half miles of trade stands, stalls and food and drink
available between the Piers as well as a planned veteran’s area for people to
share stories and experiences. The Army, Royal Air Force and Royal Navy are all
expected to be in attendance with mock-up cockpits, model jets, tanks and
ship-to-shore Naval tours.
Bournemouth Air Festival’s entertainment doesn’t stop with the roar of amazing
planes, as the fun continues into the evening with great entertainment for the
whole family to enjoy. There are plans for a jam-packed line-up of attractions
throughout the award-winning Gardens and the town centre. Bournemouth Air
Festival 2008 included the stunning Hot Air Balloon Glow and mesmerising
Heliosphere With seven miles of golden sands and sparkling sea, the
vibrant cosmopolitan town of Bournemouth has it all – a vast variety of shops,
restaurants and holiday accommodation, buzzing nightlife and endless
countryside with beautiful award-winning gardens and water sports galore.
